General Inspection recently installed a Gi-200 high- speed laser measuring system in Upper Sandusky, OH. This company produces a wide variety of hoses and tube assemblies.

They needed a very flexible machine to handle their entire array of parts.

After looking at two different suppliers of laser sorting technology, Gi was favored for flexibility, ease-of-use, defect detection and feeding expertise.

The manufacturer never had a vital need for zero defects, because most of their parts were supplied to sister companies.  However, when they spun off, the old sister companies demanded zero defects.  Therefore, it became necessary to purchase a sorting machine.
